Description
There is a moment, just before a storm or just after it, when the wind stops being invisible. You see it in tall grass bending all at once, in a curtain lifting, in hair thrown back across a face. That is the moment I wanted to keep on the canvas.
Long, fine strokes of bronze, white and gold sweep from one edge to the other in a single breath, like feathers caught mid-flight. Beneath them, soft veils of warm beige, ivory and pearl grey open and settle, the way air settles once the gust has passed. The gold is never loud: it reveals itself slowly as the daylight in the room shifts from morning to evening.
I see this painting in a calm, elegant interior: above a sofa in a living room with natural stone and pale oak, in a bedroom dressed in linen, or in an entrance hall that needs movement without noise. Its palette of beige, bronze and gold rests easily beside brushed brass, travertine and warm white walls, bringing light and motion to the room without ever overwhelming it.
A single original work, created to become part of a home rather than simply hang on a wall. A small brass plaque on the side edge carries the studio's mark.
Presentation
I am a contemporary abstract artist working under the name Turik & Art, with a background in luxury interior design. Over the past 25 years, I've worked with private clients to create refined interiors — and each time, I found myself searching for the perfect artwork to complete the space. That search eventually led me to create my own.
My artistic journey evolved naturally from my design work, and now I focus on creating one-of-a-kind pieces that carry emotion, movement, and energy — artworks that not only exist within a space but transform it.
I've had the honor of exhibiting at landmark venues including Art Capital at the Grand Palais (2025), 3F Paris (Porte de Versailles) and the Carrousel du Louvre, and my works are now in private collections internationally and in the Metropolitan Art Museum in Tokyo.
Each piece I create is unique. Upon request, I also offer commissioned artworks tailored to your interior's color palette, energy, and atmosphere — making your space truly personal and exclusive.
I am the author of Seven Voices — a documentary project in which seven people meet a single painting for the first time and answer the same seven questions, independently and without knowing what the others said. All episodes are on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLeSzSNgnyUU0
