Description

The artwork is currently rolled and unframed. The canvas measures 100×85 cm +5 cm on each side reserved for stretching and mounting onto a stretcher frame.

A massive, hand-like geometric structure presses downward, creating an acute physical boundary. Beneath this weight, an elongated figure folds inward, wrapping her arms around her knees. This dynamic captures the ongoing tension between external pressure and the search for an internal sanctuary. The red stiletto, fluid red hair, and vibrant accents evoke cultural narratives of female sexuality. Yet, the body is not exposed for external consumption; instead, it folds into itself, using its own limbs as a protective barrier to reclaim personal agency. The radiant, high-contrast yellow backdrop is interrupted by dark, heavy blocks and floating red symbols, illustrating the collision between totalitarian social expectations and individual integrity. Rather than succumbing to these rigid, imposed frameworks, the figure turns away, transforming vulnerability into an ultimate source of strength. The composition manifests the right to remain whole amidst fragmentation, defining an inviolable space where self-acceptance and internal safety prevail.
