Description
The artwork is currently rolled and unframed. The canvas measures 100×90 cm +5 cm on each side reserved for stretching and mounting onto a stretcher frame.
Against a vibrant red and warm-toned backdrop, the canvas presents a strikingly stylized, headless female figure negotiating an unseen deluge. Defined by sharp, elongated geometry, two legs clad in pointed heels step along a dark, slanted ground line, while a black umbrella and matching handbag frame the central composition. Heavy, textured streaks of dark crimson wash over the dome of the umbrella and spill downward, disrupting the sleek graphic clarity of the form. Signed Trokhym on the lower leg, the work juxtaposes sleek modern elegance with raw, expressive marks - exploring themes of protection, vulnerability, and resilience under external pressure.
