Description
Soft cream and beige wave forms rise from the surface like sea foam spreading across wet sand. The composition captures the quieter moment after a wave breaks, when motion begins to settle and the shoreline briefly returns to silence.
The sculptural surface is created with natural earth pigments, Italian marble powder, and acrylic. Raised folds, irregular cavities, and layered relief give the work strong physical presence, while darker recesses emphasize the lighter white and cream forms. The result suggests water and foam without becoming a literal seascape.
Its restrained palette of white, ivory, beige, sand, and greige makes the artwork particularly suited to calm contemporary interiors. The large horizontal format can work above a bed, dresser, dining console, credenza, or loveseat, especially in rooms built around natural wood, linen, stone, or other organic materials.
For collectors who appreciate tactile abstraction and coastal atmosphere, the work offers a quiet alternative to traditional ocean imagery. It can also make a distinctive gift for someone drawn to the sea, neutral interiors, and art centered on texture, stillness, and natural movement.
Materials: Natural earth pigments, Italian marble powder, and acrylic on stretched cotton canvas. Size: 30 × 48 in (76 × 122 cm). Framed size: 32 × 50 in (81 × 127 cm), white floating frame. Signed and dated on the front. Certificate of authenticity included.
Shipping / Display: Ready to hang. Packed in a reinforced custom box for worldwide shipping. The artwork is shipped in a protective box.
Presentation
Sveta Osborne lives and works in Anderson, South Carolina, and keeps a seasonal studio in Southwest Florida. Born in Minsk in 1975, she spent her childhood in a neighbor's sculpture workshop, where bronze and marble works for public squares. She studied fashion design at the College of Fashion Design in Minsk, then worked as a painter for many years. After moving to the United States she continued to build pictures as physical objects.
She has held solo exhibitions, including The Ocean at Art Ovation Hotel, Sarasota (2023), and textured-canvas displays at Hilton Miami Aventura, Aventura (2025 and 2026). Among her group shows and fine art festivals are ArtiGras Fine Arts Festival, Palm Beach Gardens; Naples New Year's Art Fair and Naples Downtown Art Fair, Naples; Sarasota Fine Art Show, St. Armands Circle; Bonita Springs National Art Festival; ArtFest Fort Myers; and Westhampton Beach Festival of the Arts, New York.
Her paintings are built in thick layers of acrylic, earth pigments, and Italian marble powder. Collectors describe them as sculptures on canvas.
The work is shown in Clive Daniel Home showrooms in Naples, Sarasota, and Boca Raton, and is commissioned by independent interior designers.
She is now working on a new interior botanical series of textured abstractions for pre-orders and exhibitions in 2027.
