Description
A peaceful coastal atmosphere emerges from layers of pale blue, sky blue, silver gray, and delicate champagne highlights. Sculptural forms resembling seashells, petals, and flowing marine shapes create an intricate composition inspired by the quiet beauty of Florida's Gulf Coast, where morning light reveals the traces of waves and foam on wet sand.
The artwork's remarkable texture is central to its visual character. Raised ridges, curled shapes, and deeply recessed passages form a tactile relief that catches light and creates gentle shadows. The artist combines natural earth pigments, Italian marble powder, and acrylic paint using a signature technique developed over many years, giving the surface a distinctive sculptural quality.
Rather than depicting the ocean literally, the composition captures its atmosphere through organic forms, soft color transitions, and the rhythm of overlapping shapes. The cool blue palette creates a feeling of serenity, while subtle silver and champagne accents add depth and warmth. The result balances the delicacy of natural patterns with the physical presence of textured contemporary art.
Presented in an elegant light bronze floating frame, this original artwork makes a refined focal point for a modern living room, bedroom, dining area, or coastal-inspired interior. Its generous size and calm palette complement light walls, natural wood, linen, and neutral furnishings. It is also a thoughtful gift for someone who appreciates the sea, coastal memories, and original art with expressive texture.
Materials: Natural earth pigments, Italian marble powder, and acrylic paint on stretched cotton canvas. Canvas size: (76 × 122 cm). Framed size: (81 × 127 cm). Original, one-of-a-kind artwork.
Shipping / Display: Professionally framed in a light bronze floating frame. Ready to hang horizontally or vertically. Signed and dated on the reverse. Signed certificate of authenticity included. Shipped worldwide in a reinforced custom box.
Presentation
Sveta Osborne lives and works in Anderson, South Carolina, and keeps a seasonal studio in Southwest Florida. Born in Minsk in 1975, she spent her childhood in a neighbor's sculpture workshop, where bronze and marble works for public squares. She studied fashion design at the College of Fashion Design in Minsk, then worked as a painter for many years. After moving to the United States she continued to build pictures as physical objects.
She has held solo exhibitions, including The Ocean at Art Ovation Hotel, Sarasota (2023), and textured-canvas displays at Hilton Miami Aventura, Aventura (2025 and 2026). Among her group shows and fine art festivals are ArtiGras Fine Arts Festival, Palm Beach Gardens; Naples New Year's Art Fair and Naples Downtown Art Fair, Naples; Sarasota Fine Art Show, St. Armands Circle; Bonita Springs National Art Festival; ArtFest Fort Myers; and Westhampton Beach Festival of the Arts, New York.
Her paintings are built in thick layers of acrylic, earth pigments, and Italian marble powder. Collectors describe them as sculptures on canvas.
The work is shown in Clive Daniel Home showrooms in Naples, Sarasota, and Boca Raton, and is commissioned by independent interior designers.
She is now working on a new interior botanical series of textured abstractions for pre-orders and exhibitions in 2027.
