Description
This abstract composition explores the depth of blue in a play of subtle transparencies. The artist uses chalk and India ink on paper to create an organic material. The pigments seem to flow and diffuse freely on the support.
The eye navigates between dense areas and lighter passages. Projections and vertical streaks structure the space. The whole evokes natural elements, such as a rock wall underwater or a rainy sky.
The technique favors fluidity and controlled chance. The shades of azure intertwine to form a vaporous veil. This work, created in 192, testifies to a research on light and the dilution of forms.
The visual rendering oscillates between the precision of the line and the unpredictability of the stain. The work ends with a discreet signature in the bottom right corner.
