Description
This powerful and gestural acrylic on canvas work fully integrates into the geometric abstraction and abstract expressionism of Color Field painting, with marked reminiscences of orphism, synthetic cubism, and graphic fauvism. The composition prescribes traditional figuration to venture into the pure deconstruction of space through a structure of black orthogonal axes that fragment the canvas into mosaic planes with high visual impact. The artist deploys an intense, highly saturated, and high-contrast chromatic palette, where masses of cobalt blue, turquoise, carmine red, ochre yellow, and orange coexist with areas of marbled tones and violet, delimited by fine graphic lines that bring a dynamic and gestural linear rhythm. Through this orchestration of color blocks and formal tensions, the creator seeks to express the balance between geometric order and emotional impulse, the contained energy in the encounter of pictorial forces and the pure sensory experience that emerges when contemplating the matter and light transformed into a kaleidoscope of harmony and plastic power.
Presentation
