Description
This is a painterly winter canvas executed in pastel tones, dominated by white and pale gray. The painting depicts a rural landscape covered in snow. In the center are trees with dense, snow-laden crowns, and among them small houses or huts with snow-covered roofs.
In the foreground one can make out figures of people dressed in warm clothes, as well as a horse and cart, which lend the scene the atmosphere of village life. The painting is executed in an Impressionist style with thick strokes that create the texture of the snow and the trees. The overall coloring is very soft and harmonious, conveying the cold and the quiet of a winter day.
The signature in the lower corner of the painting indicates the author or the date the work was created.
