Description
This acrylic painting explores the deconstruction of the face through a figurative prism. The thick, jagged black lines segment the space to create a play of anatomical mirrors. The gaze gets lost among several profiles that intertwine in a jerky rhythm.
The palette focuses on shades of red and pink. These warm tones contrast with touches of ochre and deep black. The composition recalls the audacity of cubism and the freedom of raw art.
Through its various collages (tissue paper, grosgrain, threads,..), the treatment of the material brings a tactile relief to the surface. The lines are frank, almost instinctive. Several faces seem to merge or face each other in a complex visual dialogue.
The artist plays with superimpositions to disturb the perception of volumes. The white background allows the chromatic intensity of the center to breathe. This 2026 creation is distinguished by its raw approach and its rigorous management of contrasts.

Sabine Louriac is a French artist born on November 12, 1954 in Castres in the Tarn.
At the age of 10, she started practicing drawing and later on became passionate about painting. She got a training in painting at first autodidactically before working in the workshop of Brienne with Jean Louis Engels until 1994. She then enrolled in open courses at the School of Fine Arts of Toulouse with Rémi Peyranne.
A versitile artist he draws his inspiration from raw art to cubism; from Matisse to Modigliani, from Picasso to Chagall, Sabine Louriac's paintings depict mostly female personages, strange and almost anthropomorphism with a colorful and bright color pallette.
