Description
"After the long ride" rests in the stillness that follows endurance — the kind of quiet that only comes after going further than expected. It speaks to weariness, to reflection, to the subtle shift between holding on and letting be. A moment suspended between arrival and departure, where nothing moves, but everything has changed.
Presentation
Yulia Bulashenko (1990) is a Barcelona-based visual artist working primarily with abstract painting. Her practice explores color as a language through which to approach memory, emotion and the perception of place. Her compositions bring together organic and archetypal forms, intuitive gestures and shifting chromatic relationships, drawing from ancient visual languages and imagined landscapes.
Her background in film and visual media has influenced her approach to atmosphere and visual composition. In recent years, her work has evolved towards larger scales and a more material and research-driven practice, exploring the relationship between landscape, pigment and place through photography and experimentation with natural elements.
