The work will be delivered mounted on a frame and ready to hang.
The sides of the canvas are carefully painted white, offering the possibility to display it without a frame for a contemporary and clean presentation.

Landscape of Auvergne, France.
On this high plateau, the snow mantle imposes a thick silence. The snow simplifies the relief: the hollows, the slopes, and the paths are nothing more than soft folds, pale undulations.
In this white immensity, dark conifers and curtains of bare trees punctuate the ridge lines like the hollows of valleys. Scale markers, they emphasize the harshness of the climate and the solitude of the isolated farms in the folds of the plateau.
In the distance, the snow-covered peak stands, luminous, solid, and immutable despite the assaults of time: it resists the immensity. Above it, the sky weighs, heavy with snow showers, pierced by a diffuse light. In this late afternoon, the cold thickens and the wind sweeps the plateaus.
It is this confrontation between the icy rigor of the plateau, the reassuring permanence of the peak, and the melancholic poetry of a fading light that I wanted to convey on the canvas.
