Description
Work done with Posca (Uni / style of acrylic paint) on linen bleached. Protection : painted with semi-gloss aerosol spray. (Wooden frame dyed black with glazing) Neat packaging.
"Lumineuse" is a dazzling celebration of color and form, depicting a flower bursting with life and energy. Created in acrylic marker with finger-applied gradations, this work combines precision with smooth, harmonious color transitions.
At the center of the composition, a vibrant core of red and orange evokes the pulsing heart of the flower, radiating warmth and light. From this center emerge petals in a symphony of hues: greens, blues, purples and oranges unfold in a perfectly balanced geometric pattern. Each petal, delineated by precise black contours, delicately blends into the next thanks to gradations skilfully applied with the finger, creating an impression of movement and depth.
The colored rays extending from the center to the edges of the canvas reinforce the luminous effect of the work, evoking sunlight filtering through the stained glass windows of a cathedral. The bright, saturated colors draw the eye in, inviting deeper exploration of the minute details of each section.
Presentation
Jonathan Pradillon, born in 1993 in France, is a painter whose work is distinguished by the audacity of his colors and his attraction to abstraction. His works, colorful and energetic, play with contrasts and capture the eye, inviting an immersion in his artistic universe.
After four years of studying computer graphics and crafts, he chose to move away from digital technology to devote himself fully to manual creation, exploring painting as his main means of expression.
Since childhood, he has been fascinated by colors , shapes and materials, which naturally leads him to diversify his practices. In addition to painting, he creates sculptures combining woodworking and metal assembly with arc welding, thus creating unique pieces that combine strength and delicacy.
A full-time artist since 2012 and officially declared in 2015, he continues his path with passion, constantly exploring new ways to bring his ideas to life.
