Untitled is an original contemporary artwork realized by Ugo Nespolo in 1976
Original patchwork collage. Colored cloth (felt). Hand-signed by the artist on the lower right corner: Nespolo.
Original wood frame (painted wood): 98 x 7.5 x 80 cm.
Beautiful and colored work realized by the Italian contemporary artist Ugo Nespolo in the 1970s representing abstract colored shapes: a patchwork of different shapes of different colors hand-sewn together with a blue wire. The work inspires a great sense of joy and cheerfulnees, in full Nespolo style.
The work has been realized by the Italian contemporary artist Ugo Nespolo (Mosso, 1941) an Italian painter and sculptor, particularly known for his films, his applied arts and works and his artistic collaborations in advertising, theatre and literature. In the 1980s, Nespolo made ceramics and blown glass objects, created over fifty posters for exhibitions and other events, did advertising campaigns – the ones for Campari and Azzurra are the most famous. Nespolo's works covering his whole production have been presented or hosted in major national and international exhibitions.
