Presentation
After studying at the Beaux-Arts in Namur and Brussels then having officiated on the radio waves for several years, Marc-André Metais let go of the microphone for brushes, now expressing themselves through colors and shapes reflecting a state of spirit, a thought, an event ...
The emotion takes precedence pushing the technique to use the expressiveness in the gesture. Games of transparency, tingling, Marc-André Metais shows the connection between the living and the spiritual. The creative process is intended to be fun: the artist uses paste, juice, projection, collage, serif, ample and precise invoice.
The feelings are reflected in touches of color but also in graphic lines characteristic of the artist's style. All of Marc-André Metais' paintings invite you to the mystery of the emotion that grabs you.
