Gor Avetisyan   Best sellers

When a painter (Gor Avetisyan) and a photographer (Laurent Cassuto) collaborate on a portrait, the result is an unique and multidimensional artwork that combines the mediums of painting and photography. The process typically involves the photographer capturing the subject's image through photography, and then the painter using

that photograph as a reference to create a painted interpretation of the subject on the photograph printed on canvas.

The photographer's role is to capture the subject's likeness, expressions, and other visual details through the camera lens. They may also experiment with lighting, composition, and other elements to enhance the overall aesthetic of the photograph. Once the photograph is obtained, the painter will use it as a reference to paint over the portrait printed on canvas and thus use it to express his own creativity.

The collaboration between the painter and the photographer allows for the blending of different artistic perspectives and techniques. The result is a fusion of the photographer's ability to capture a moment in time and the painter's skill to express emotion and artistic vision through brushstrokes.

This kind of collaboration can lead to visually striking and thought-provoking pieces that highlight the synergy between photography and painting, offering viewers a new perspective on the subject.
