In creating this series of black and white photographs, I sought to capture the timeless, romantic essence of the Pont des Arts in Paris. This iconic location embodies a unique blend of tradition and modernity, and I chose to present it in a monochrome palette to highlight this duality.

Each of the photographs in this series is an invitation to explore the emotions and memories that the Pont des Arts evokes in passers-by and lovers of the city. By opting for black and white, I sought to eliminate any chromatic distraction and place the emphasis on the architectural details, poetic atmosphere and expressions of the people present.

Through the dramatic contrast of black and white, I wanted to reveal the rich textures, shadows and light that permeate this place steeped in history. From eternal love to artistic exchanges, the Pont des Arts tells many stories, and this series aims to capture a sample of these visually evocative narratives.

Each of these photographs invites the viewer to reflect on the significance of the Pont des Arts and to be carried away by its charm, while exploring the duality between past and present, tradition and modernity, art and love.

With this series, I hope that the black-and-white images of the Pont des Arts will capture not only the visual beauty of the place, but also the emotion and history that make it an essential symbol of Paris.
