Description
This artwork presents a seascape of striking intensity, embodied by the dramatic encounter between the sky and the sea. The artist has captured a moment when nature seems to hold its breath, just before an impending storm. The sky, weighed down by dark and threatening clouds, imposes an atmosphere of palpable tension. Each shade of gray and dark blue in the clouds seems to tell a story of past and future storms. The sea, in subtle contrast, exhibits a striking turquoise hue towards the horizon, suggesting a hidden and mysterious light behind the menace of the clouds. The lapping waters, seemingly tranquil, reflect an almost still surface that masks the potential turmoil below. The foreground, with its wet and dark sandy beach, adds a rich texture to the composition. Presentation
I use the photographic medium to offer a subjective vision of the world around me by magnifying reality, giving it a poetic, even almost romantic, meaning where shape and light and color transcend the subject of the photograph. This often results in pictorial and timeless images, sometimes almost abstract, open to the viewer's psyche.
For me, photography is not reality but one reality among others. Mine is to create the conditions for wonder...
