Description
This creative artwork uses LEGO-style minifigures to convey a powerful political message. In the background, the blurred European Parliament building symbolizes the importance of the European Union in the global context. In the foreground, two minifigures are in action. One, perched on a ladder, is repainting a blue sign adorned with the EU's iconic stars, illustrating an effort to repair or maintain European unity. The other, carrying a suitcase with the British flag, appears to be leaving, symbolizing Brexit and its implications. The combination of these visual and symbolic elements offers a reflection on the dynamics of contemporary Europe against a backdrop of political tensions. This playful yet deeply meaningful tableau captures attention with its ingenuity and relevance, prompting further exploration of current dialogues surrounding European identity.
Presentation
This plastic artist & photographer from Lyon began extreme sports photography in urban areas. Under the influence of the geek culture, Samsofy's artistic approach is focuses on small yellow characters (LEGO-like), well known to the general public. He combines photography techniques, street art, modelling, and installation to convey his messages. He often mixes politics, humor, and poetry in his art as well.
