Purple reflection, 2019

Martin Raskovsky

This artwork vividly captures a surreal and mesmerizing twilight scene. Dominated by an intense purple sky, the atmosphere is otherworldly and dreamlike. Leafless trees, stark and delicate, are mirrored perfectly in the still, glass-like water below, creating a sense of balance and symmetry. The horizon reveals a faint, warm glow, suggesting a sunrise or sunset that contrasts strikingly with the deep purples, enhancing the scene's ethereal quality. In the sky, a flock of birds soars gracefully, adding a dynamic element to the otherwise tranquil setting. The meticulous attention to detail and the striking use of color make this piece both captivating and unforgettable, drawing the viewer into a landscape where reality and fantasy intertwine seamlessly. The composition invites contemplation, evoking a sense of peace and wonder.
