Description
This photographic composition explores abstraction. The gaze wanders into an intertwining of geometric shapes and fragmented textures. The chromatic contrasts oppose with precision. Orangey and warm tones pierce a dominance of deep blues and mineral grays.
The digital treatment deconstructs the image to extract its visual essence. The structure becomes a rhythm. The lines break. The light seems to diffract through a prism, creating a modern mosaic effect.
The image plays on spatial perception. It transforms a concrete image into a dreamlike and infinite vision. This technical approach highlights a particular sensitivity to the mutations of the contemporary world.
Presentation
Dominique Martelli is a photographer and author who has been living in the Lot for over a year, having previously lived in Périgueux and then in Hautefort. She currently contributes to the local daily newspaper, *La Dordogne Libre*, as a correspondent, writing various articles on a range of topics relating to local news.
Her sensitivity and open-mindedness have led her to express her views on the changing world through her lens and her writing, which reflect her unique personality and are evident in the perspective she brings to her photography.
She has published two locally produced books (ARKA) dedicated to nature in all the forms we know it today.
