Description
I have photographed hundreds of waves and I am obsessed with the sea and seascapes, but this one photographed on Long Island back in the days of film has always been my favourite. I can't say why, it just is special to me right down to the grain of the Tri X.
This is one of my negative images which is available as a Robin Bell Silver Gelatin print, by negotiation

Presentation
London photographer and film-maker Richard Dunkley has worked all over the world for over 40 years, including twelve years based in New York. He has shot fashion for Vogue in five different countries and won numerous awards for his advertising photography. His personal work is held in many private and corporate collections.
Richard's wide range of interests, from dance to sport to film, are reflected in his collection with Artsper, in work from many years of his career. Recently Richard has concentrated on personal work and his new book, 'Chair Stories, Spaces and Places', has been available since September 2020, with a London exhibition in 2021.
Richard is currently working on a two year project on one of the UK's great gardens, for publication in 2022.
Richard Dunkley's black and white images are available in Silver Gelatin prints by legendary printer Robin Bell: prices on application
