Description
The artwork created by Fred Meurice is titled “Girl or Butterfly” and is made using the technique of plexiglass. It is an extremely limited piece, with only 3 copies available, and has dimensions of 110x110x6cm. The artwork depicts an enigmatic image that can be seen as either a girl or a butterfly, depending on the viewer’s perspective. The combination of the iconic form of the human figure with the delicacy of the butterfly creates an intriguing and fascinating artwork. The use of plexiglass adds depth and reflection to the piece, further enhancing the overall visual impact. “Girl or Butterfly” is a testament to the artist’s ability to create pieces that challenge the viewer’s perception and invite reflection on the duality and dual nature of humanity.
Presentation
Trained in graphic arts, Fred began his career in the world of graphic design and advertising before extending his practice to plastic and pictorial creation.
