Alexandre Kubasik

My work is based on the hybridization of painting and sculpture. The material, the relief, the textures, and the light give birth to works where the surface becomes volume and where painting asserts a physical presence. I develop compositions where organic forms and industrial structures dialogue in a search for balance between the living and the constructed. Inspired by the complexity of circuits, I transpose their rhythms, connections, and tensions into my works. I conceive a vision where the animal world and technology can coexist. This encounter is the extension of a deeper approach: to give body to an inner force. Through the material, I seek to make visible an energy of will and determination. Each work is entirely made by hand. The superposition of materials and the work of relief reinforce this presence, until they make the painting an object that transcends its surface. I am not just looking to represent a subject. I am looking to create a presence. A work capable of capturing the gaze, establishing a silent dialogue with the one who contemplates it, and giving body to a force that, for the time of a encounter, no longer belongs only to me.
