Description
Philippe Matine
Born in 1965 in France, lives and works in Paris. After studying communications, he began his professional career in advertising. A self-taught French artist, after a slow maturation process, he defined a mode of expression through digital art which allowed him to reconcile his two centers of interest.
His works are built around a simple concept: in every landscape there are stories hidden and these just want to intrigue the viewer. His style as a French artist is inspired by the clear line.
Presentation
Philippe Matine is a French artist born in 1965, he lives and works in Paris.
Having a degree in communications, he turned to the world of advertising. Philippe has always been passionate about cinema and traveling. He gradually became a graphic designer, which allowed him to combine his two passions in his creations.
Philippe Matine's works combine the world of comics and the world of traveling or of urban landscapes. The artist starts from a simple principle, behind each facade in every street of a city, people are living a story, he incites the observer to discover it.
The talent of the artist was noticed very early in his career so he decided to start his artistic creation, each one of his pieces is a window to a city of a world in which life is at its best.
