Description
This captivating work features the word “love” meticulously formed from a vibrant pink paste that appears to burst from a silver metal paint tube. The fluidity of the material used is striking, evoking both the dynamism and spontaneity of artistic expression.
The contrast between the smooth, shiny texture of the paste and the cool metal of the tube creates an intriguing visual tension. This inventive composition embodies the idea of boundless creativity, where love is literally depicted as an artistic creation. The bright color immediately catches the eye, symbolizing bright passion and positive energy.
This bold marriage of materials and symbolism makes the work exceptionally modern and expressive, highlighting the power of art to transform the everyday into a statement full of meaning and emotion.
Presentation
In each sculpture, Sagrasse places a fragment of humanity, an emotion kneaded into the material, like a breath that crosses time.
Born in 1966 in Macerata, in the Marche region of Italy, Sagrasse has dedicated his life to sculpture for over thirty years. Driven by a constant passion for material and form, he has developed an artistic language that is both contemporary and profoundly human.
His works are exhibited throughout the world, in galleries, private exhibitions, and spaces dedicated to art. This international career reflects a recognition acquired over time, driven by the sincerity and strength of his work.
Sagrasse's creations address contemporary and universal themes : ecology, social ideologies, and the relationship between man and his environment. His sculpture thus becomes a space for reflection, where consciousness and aesthetics, questioning and emotion intertwine.
