Description
In his research and storytelling process, Aket was keen to create the work directly on the stone.
This process resulted in the creation of several works, all enhanced showing a preparatory research sketch combined with more elaborate painting elements.
Each model is unique and this journey illustrates different points of view and narratives that challenge us on the importance of the construction elements of a work.
10 copies on BFK Rives paper.
Printed and published by Idem Paris
Text of the work:
"Have you ever felt that urgency, that sense of waiting for something, as if the world keeps spinning around you? That thrill in the air, that vibration you can't ignore. Thoughts swirl in your mind, creating an almost poetic chaos, a disordered dance of imaginary dreams. Each idea is fleeting, it flickers briefly then you capture it. There is something beautiful in this waiting, a hidden potential. Like the one standing there in the rain, perhaps he has learned that patience is a virtue. While you feel slightly lost, he finds a form of serenity in the tumult. He is in no hurry, he knows that each drop of rain brings something else. In this chaos there is a beauty, a hidden melody so listen. Don't fear being lost, get lost. Every step, however hesitant, brings you closer to this truth. Embrace your state of wandering because it is in this exploration that You will discover not only the world, but also unsuspected facets of yourself. Let yourself be carried away and be ready to welcome the fruits of life.

Presentation
Aket Kubic, born May 20, 1989 in Grande-Synthe, northern France. He is a French contemporary street artist whose work transcends national borders. Growing up in an artistic environment, Aket made his first encounters with art during adolescence. It was then that he discovered graffiti and signed his blaze "Aket" for the first time, a pseudonym that is a caricatural reference to a peculiarity of his face.
Aket Kubic interprets everyday life, transforming routine and simple ordinary scenes into positive and surprising visions that speak to everyone. His work brings new perspectives to traditional scenes, giving the viewer a fresh outlook on the mundane. Through his creation, Aket defies the codes of cubism, accentuating forms using techniques of urban art. His unique style is immediately recognizable, characterized by an emphasis on geometric objects like cubes and a playful, experimental approach to art.
In 2021, Aket created "Mr Tarin," an iconic and caricatural character representing a stereotypical Frenchman. Mr Tarin, with his red nose symbolizing wine and blue beret, quickly became a signature element of Aket's art. In 2023, Aket embarked on the series "Fights," a comprehensive and timeless subject exploring the stories and relationships that unite people. His work in this series continues to showcase his distinctive style and narrative ability.
Aket's growing prominence in the art world was solidified when he was selected by Coca-Cola for their global MASTERPIECE campaign, confirming his status as a reference in artistic circles. Aket Kubic continues to engage in an experimental and playful approach to art, using his creations to explore and present personalities and subjects with a stylistic closeness to cubism. His vibrant and dynamic work remains a testament to his ability to breathe new life into the ordinary and make it extraordinary.Aket Kubic, from his graffiti beginnings to his current status as a celebrated contemporary street artist, has made a significant impact on the art world. His unique approach to everyday life and cubism, combined with his playful experimentation, ensures his place as a significant figure in contemporary art.
