Description
This giclée print is based on my original artwork, which explores the elegance of the female form through layers of emerald green, soft lime, and deep black tones. Female silhouettes emerge and dissolve within the composition, creating a sense of mystery, movement, and quiet intimacy.
Three fans become central visual elements, introducing a rhythm of concealment and revelation while adding a refined decorative character to the piece. The partially hidden figures appear fragmented by light and shadow, allowing the viewer to discover subtle details gradually rather than all at once.
A delicate hidden accent can be found behind one of the fans, where a subtle glimpse of a breast appears through a narrow opening, adding a quiet sense of sensuality without disrupting the work's elegance. Rich color transitions, textured surfaces, and carefully balanced contrasts preserve the atmosphere of the original artwork, inviting the viewer into a world of beauty, intrigue, and feminine presence.
Presentation
Kristina Mallen, a painter with a background in oil and acrylic mediums.
Her recognisable style infuses the sophistication of Art Deco, the pop of Pop Art with a dominant focus on the female figure, manifesting elegance and eroticism. Her work exudes the extravagance, classical chic, and charm of women, striking a balance between provocation and the sublime.
