Description
Classical beauty meets urban chaos. This striking artwork reimagines a Renaissance icon through the lens of contemporary street art. Bold colors collide. Electric blues and vivid magentas clash against raw, splattered textures. The composition vibrates with energy.
The serene expression of the marble figure remains intact. However, the surface is disrupted by graffiti elements. Spontaneous drips and handwritten scripts overlap the refined anatomy. This contrast creates a powerful dialogue between the eternal and the ephemeral.
The artist employs a dynamic layering technique. Thick impasto strokes merge with fluid sprays. The result is a tactile surface that captures the spirit of the modern city. It is a celebration of cultural evolution. The piece transforms a museum staple into a vibrant symbol of rebellion and rebirth.
Light plays across the fragmented planes of the face. Deep shadows emphasize the sculptural depth. The composition is anchored by a bold typographic element at the base. Every splatter adds a layer of emotional intensity to the scene. The artwork concludes with a fusion of gold accents and gritty urban markings.
Presentation
The artist IPR Graph lives and works in Alicante, Spain, where he develops his artistic practice in his own studio and gallery. He began his career in the field of modern art, sculpture, and professional figurative painting, disciplines in which he acquired a solid technical and conceptual background. However, it was his fascination with Pop Art and the dynamism of urban art that led him to find a freer contemporary language, free from traditional artistic constraints, allowing him to express himself with complete creative independence.
His work is part of the convergence of neo-expressionism, urban art, and contemporary pop culture, establishing a personal style characterized by visual power, chromatic energy, and iconic power. In his works, IPR Graph reinterprets universal figures from film, music, sports, manga, Japanese anime, and video games, constructing an imaginary world where cultural icons become symbols of collective memory.
Each piece is an exercise in emotional and psychological reinterpretation, where vibrant colors, urban graphics, typographic collages, and intense pictorial gestures create powerful portraits and scenes. These figures are recognizable not only by their imagery but also by the expressive and symbolic meaning they convey, generating a dialogue between the viewer and contemporary visual culture.
Inspired by street art, collage, and modern expressionism, IPR Graph transforms his canvases into an experimental field of great aesthetic freedom. There, the gestural, the iconic, and the popular blend, giving rise to works that are simultaneously provocative and refined, with a strong contemporary feel.
The works presented in this auction are high-quality giclée reproductions on professional canvas, durable and long-lasting. Each one belongs to a limited edition of only 10 numbered copies worldwide, making them exclusive, collectible pieces, intended for an audience that values both aesthetic strength and uniqueness in contemporary art.
