Description
A precise trait. A timeless humor. This composition immerses us in the backstage of creation. The drawing rigorously decomposes the movement of an iconic character.
The artist uses digigraphie here to fix the moment. The layout recalls technical study sheets. Different phases of animation are observed. Handwritten annotations guide the eye. They specify the posture and the intention of the gesture.
The figurative style fades behind the pedagogy of movement. The white of the paper accentuates the clarity of the black line. Each step of the jump is analyzed. Balance and dynamics are sought with exemplary graphic mastery.
It is a rare testimony to the narrative process. The work captures the essence of the classic comic book. This limited edition dates from 2010. It features a high-definition print on paper.
Presentation
Albert Uderzo, undisputed master of comics, enchants with his emblematic work. Celebrated for his artistic genius through Asterix and Obelix, Uderzo offers a captivating visual experience. Each line expresses exceptional technical mastery and a captivating narrative.
Born in 1927 in Fismes (Marne), and left us on March 24, 2020.
It is 2010 AD.
The meeting of two die-hard Gauls, Asterix and Atelier Contemporain on the cobblestones of the great Lutèce fair, leads them on the path of a new adventure: The conquest of the walls. A dose of magic potion, a few drops of digigraphy and they are ready for the road.
