Description
Original print by Félix MEYNET, signed and numbered 08/30 by the artist. Sold framed and under glass.
This captivating illustration features two female figures in a bold, graphic black and white style. The artist uses fluid, precise lines to capture the dynamic energy of the scene. The woman in the front, dressed in striking striped clothing, strikes a bold pose, while the other, wearing a tilted top hat, stands in the background with a harp. The contrast between the refined details and the minimalist background adds an intriguing dimension to the work. The subtle lighting accentuates the figures' expressions and postures, creating a mysterious yet sophisticated atmosphere. This framed piece irresistibly draws the eye and invites you to explore the artist's imagination with admiration.
Presentation
Félix Meynet is a French comic strip author and former ski instructor, born November 26, 1961 in Saint-Jeoire-en-Faucigny. Based in Bellevaux, in Haute-Savoie, he notably created the series Fanfoué des Pnottas, where his characters are part of his region: of popular inspiration, they make fun of tourists, but also local people... His wife Dominique helps with the coloring of the albums.
Meynet also draws several series, including Les Eternels and Sauvage, scripted by Yann. Sauvage and in particular its fifth volume released at the beginning of 2020 earned it very positive reviews.
