Description
The work A Noxious Berghain Orgy depicts a club scene, a motif emblematic of Armin Boehm's practice. Sometimes dressed, sometimes disguised, the figures move through a shared space. Their gestures and glances capture a moment of collective intensity that can only unfold within Berlin's club scene, where social boundaries blur and the body becomes the primary language. Boehm's approach goes beyond classic printmaking: for this unique piece, he applied small pieces of fabric directly onto striking areas of the image, a technique typical of his practice that gives the work a second skin, lending it depth, texture, and a tactile quality. The result is a sheet that is unlike any other in the edition.
