Description
Etching and aquatint on paper.
Hand signed, numbered and dated.
Edition of 300.
Eglau was deeply influenced by coastal landscapes, specifically the North Sea island of Sylt where he worked extensively. This composition features his hallmark structural, semi-abstract style. It arranges various geometric maritime navigational aids—such as spar buoys, cages, and a dominant sphere—into an architectural rhythm. He uses a cool, muted marine palette of pale seafoam green, teal, and slate gray layered over strict black linework
