Presentation
Self-taught iconoclastic illustrator, with an uncompromising erotic-trash approach. Denis GRRR started his career in the fanzine world, underground press, alternative art. In 2000 he worked for Philippe Druillet (Video game Salammbô).
We find him alongside the group La Muerte, in the magazine Rage, at Gallery d'Enfer in Brussels, decorates La Cantada II in Paris ... Has participated in many fanzines / graphzines (La Pieuvre, Stronx, Malefact, Couverture , Atomik ...), in role-playing games like In Nomine Satanis - Magna Veritas etc... Works mainly with Bic, thus approaching engraving. Among his main references: Rops, Liberatore, GA Mossa, Von Stuck, F. Bacon, flayed man by H. Fragonard, K. Russel, PJFarmer, G. Battaille, or Saudek, medical engraving, pornography …
