Description
In the spirit of Atom ...
The words of the artist:
"My artistic research like Genesis plunged into incomprehension ... How to understand matter made of emptiness. The atom which composes it exists only through the forces which animate it and which keep a gigantic empty space coherent 2 . 100,000 times the volume of the nucleus. We are built from this vacuum and we walk on the vacuum. Our presence is illusory. Researchers explain to us that the cohesion of atom and matter is due to the energy that maintains this atomic balance. Astronomers take us on a tour of a universe resulting from the Big Bang where everything is only force expansion gravitation. The journey into the infinitely small then continues in space. I come back from these journeys with informal scenes or the gestation of electrons temporizes the dilation of time. I seek to materialize the concepts of energy and movement. My sculptures seek the appearance of the vibration of the reflection of the illusion of movement and fleeting equilibrium. The composition p leins and voids the contrasting finishes contribute to this research! "

Presentation
Energy of Movement, Mineral radiance, Balance of composition
Guillaume Roche creates stainless steel sculptures with powerful lines and aerial movements. The artiste, graduated from the National School of Applied Arts of Paris, is born in France and works in his studio near Paris.
His search of form is based on the transformation of raw material. Energy and eruption are the key words of his works, while his shapes are purified and softened by the erosion of time.
Stillness after the storm!
A mineral spirit blows on his sculptures. The life bloods of nature are his source of inspiration: chaos of stones, ever changing winds, camaieux of the sea, clear or violent skies. From his works comes out a sense of ultimate poetry. His mastership of evanescent colors and the luminosity of stainless steel shaded from white to black are to be noted. His works, with its controlled stability are right at the limit of fulcrum and invite us in a world where duality is pacified.
