Description
Sceptronome 1 Bronze on Granite-Metal base. 72cm high. Unique piece. Signed: olive Patinated bronze figure with a hot waxed finish, on its Labrador granite base and metal plate. Figure that materializes around feminine curves. The work becomes movement and confronts the material, it is a search for harmony that is established, it is an invitation to contemplation. Going beyond the figurative to better express lightness, fragility, feminine sensuality. Living sculptures, they evolve, reveal their various facets according to the gaze.
Presentation
An instinctive approach, where the perpetual quest of PHILIPPE OLIVE materializes around feminine curves. It creates the emotion of an instant. The work becomes movement and confronts the material, a search for harmony is established, it is an invitation to contemplation. Going beyond the figurative to better express lightness, fragility, feminine sensuality. Living sculptures, they evolve, reveal their various facets according to the gaze. Free form, resulting from the addition of a part of destiny, of intuition, of the emotion of a moment. PHILIPPE OLIVE takes advantage of taut curves to energize movement and propel forms into space. Playing with materials rich in nobility, with smooth and rough character, it offers a dynamic transforming the unreal into existential, perception into reality. The unique completed work possesses this universal harmony, releasing a revealing vibration of symbols and philosophical messages of love and freedom.
