Description
At the heart of this work sits an elegant white marble podium, embodying grace and permanence. On this base reigns a silver Jordan, seeming to defy gravity itself. The artist captured the dynamism and energy of the famous silhouette by giving it outstretched wings at the back. These wings catch and reflect the light, creating plays of shadows and reflections that evoke the dynamics of movement. The shoe, although it rests on this marble base, seems suspended in the air. Only the toe of the shoe lightly touches the surface of the podium, while the rest rises gracefully, defying gravity. This juxtaposition between the lightness of aluminum and the solidity of marble creates a captivating visual tension. This work is a reflection on the power of urban iconography and contemporary fashion. It embodies the aspiration to elevation, to the conquest of dreams, while celebrating the fusion between art and popular culture. Work available immediately at the Gallery located in Paris, 16 Place des Vosges.Phone 09 63 62 79 13.
Presentation
Born in 1981 in Paris, contemporary artist "Le Youn" draws his inspiration from the lively streets of the French capital. His artistic style is a captivating blend of pop art and street art, offering works that are both bold and vibrant.
From an early age, Le Youn showed a deep interest in colors and shapes. His first steps into the art world were influenced by drawing classes, where he discovered his passion for visual creation. However, it was the encounters with other artists in his daily life that really stimulated his desire to pursue an artistic career.
Travel holds a special place in Le Youn's life. Through his travels, he discovered numerous works and artists who enriched his creativity. Some of his creations are inspired by the themes and colors of his travels, thus adding an international dimension to his art.
A passionate and visionary artist, he transcends the boundaries of art by integrating with finesse and elegance fashion icons and luxurious brands at the heart of his artistic creations.
As a big movie buff, Le Youn also finds a great source of inspiration in cinema. Iconic franchises such as Marvel, DC Comics, comics, cartoons, manga, Disney and Pixar have left their mark on his artistic work, reflected in his creations.
What particularly sets his works apart are their vibrant colors and infectious energy. He manages to capture the spirit of childhood in his creations, using his imagination to bring to life works of art that evoke joy and spontaneity. Each work is an invitation to explore a universe filled with unique colors and shapes.
In addition to his talent as an artist, Le Youn has been working for several years in the art world as an art dealer in Paris. This experience allowed him to meet many international art collectors, further enriching his view of the artistic world.
In 2023, Le Youn launched his first series of works, and he has great aspirations for the future of his artistic career. Its commitment to colorful and vibrant art promises to continue to captivate and amaze art lovers.
