Pomme Crazy Pop, 2023

This artwork takes the bold form of a sculptural apple, vibrant with color and pattern. The surface of the apple is a dynamic swirl of modern graffiti, each section bursting with visual energy. Dominated by vibrant shades of pink, orange, green, and blue, it immediately captures the eye. The graffiti covering the apple reveals a plurality of styles and messages. Plump red lips, a stylized monkey skull, and dancing human silhouettes create a dialogue between pop culture and street art. The overall effect is a visual collage that reflects a wealth of personal expression and statement. The three-dimensional quality of the sculpture adds a depth that invites the viewer to walk around it, exploring every angle like a new discovery. Each brushstroke and splash of color appears strategically placed while maintaining a raw, spontaneous freedom typical of street art. The contrast between the natural shape of the apple and the rebellious, urban elements of the graffiti underlines a captivating tension – a harmony between the classic and the contemporary. It is a piece that not only attracts, but also provokes reflection on the interaction between art and the urban environment.
