Sculpture in waxed forged mild steel.2 removable characters. Can change position and orientation on their base.
This captivating sculpture, made of metal, is distinguished by its imposing verticality and slender forms. It represents two elongated forms, mounted on a simple but solid base, which reinforce the idea of growth and slenderness. The lines of the sculpture are marked by meticulous work of the material, authentically raw, revealing a rich and striated texture. The work asserts itself by its expressive minimalism, where each element seems carefully balanced to evoke a beneficial dynamic. The elongated forms, similar to stylized characters, suggest a silent but powerfully present interaction between them, perhaps symbolizing a connection or a silent dialogue. The use of deep dark brown gives the piece an aura of mystery and sophistication. The ambient light will vary the intensity of the shadows cast, adding an additional dimension to this already deep creation. The simplicity of the composition, combined with the complexity of the surface treatment, invites the viewer to prolonged contemplation, prompting reflection on the relationship between visual density and structural lightness. This art object, both modern and timeless, challenges with the purity of its lines and the strength it emanates, thus affirming its place in the pantheon of bold and refined sculptural creations.
