Description
This captivating bust challenges the traditional perception of sculpture. Carved from a clear, smooth material, it depicts a person's face with offset fragments, creating a striking illusion. The eyes, multiplied and layered, traverse the levels of the face, evoking a multidimensional gaze. This intriguing layering plays with perception and symbolizes the complexity of human identity. The artist brilliantly uses shadows and lines to give movement and depth, giving the work an almost surreal dynamic. This bust, both disconcerting and fascinating, invites the viewer to explore the hidden layers of existence and reevaluate the way we perceive faces. By blurring the lines between reality and illusion, this work stands out for its ability to captivate and provoke thought.

With humor, the artist tries to answer the surprisingly innovative question: “What is there, ultimately, inside a work of art? We will then realize that art, man, and even animal, are not so different. The mystery of the soul remains however, and it is this mystery, born of the gap between science and art, which makes all the singularity of this series ...
