Description
This work features a vibrant sculpture of an elephant, captivating with its varied palette of blues. The geometric patterns, resembling puzzle pieces, overlap harmoniously, creating a striking mosaic effect. Occasionally punctuated with small white dots, these patterns give a dynamic texture to the animal's surface. The inscription visible on the flank, "Eléfante", adds a linguistic dimension that challenges. The graceful and balanced curves of the elephant convey a sense of movement, particularly through the outstretched ears and raised trunk, symbols of vitality and wisdom. The bold use of colors and patterns gives this piece an originality that never fails to impress, embodying a fusion of traditional and modern art.
Presentation
Max ArtLouis, born in 1971 in Puy en Velay, is a self-taught artist who began painting at the age of 14.
Nourished by his father's passion for model making, as much as by his innate taste for meticulousness and detail, in 2018 he moved towards volume supports which he considers more dynamic than a flat surface, and which allow him to play more freely with colors, materials and crystals.
The models that inspire his imagination are essentially animalistic, because they are varied and moving. Through their flamboyant dressing, with a brush, a spatula, with a silicone syringe,... Max Artlouis plays with the movement of the model from which then emanates an emotion which surprises the eye as much as the touch.
Each of his creations is unique. And its works, sparkling with colors, rhinestones and varnish, are pieces of art, which, like jewels, are to be admired in the setting of your interior (except in bad weather).
