Description
This work fuses modern design and conceptual art. At first glance, the object resembles a polished metal sculpture, displaying the dynamically interlocking letters "LOVE," their reflective surfaces shimmering in the light. The asymmetrical arrangement of the letters evokes tension and movement, while their chrome finish adds a futuristic dimension. Wrapped in sturdy rope and placed on a miniature wooden pallet, the work juxtaposes industrial materials and organic elements, creating a striking contrast. The rope symbolizes a connection, holding and unifying the disparate components.
This bold blend of materials and textures engages the viewer, inviting them to explore the themes of attachment and harmony in modernity. The work stands out for its ingenuity and its ability to transform a simple concept into a complex artistic statement.
Presentation
In each sculpture, Sagrasse places a fragment of humanity, an emotion kneaded into the material, like a breath that crosses time.
Born in 1966 in Macerata, in the Marche region of Italy, Sagrasse has dedicated his life to sculpture for over thirty years. Driven by a constant passion for material and form, he has developed an artistic language that is both contemporary and profoundly human.
His works are exhibited throughout the world, in galleries, private exhibitions, and spaces dedicated to art. This international career reflects a recognition acquired over time, driven by the sincerity and strength of his work.
Sagrasse's creations address contemporary and universal themes : ecology, social ideologies, and the relationship between man and his environment. His sculpture thus becomes a space for reflection, where consciousness and aesthetics, questioning and emotion intertwine.
