Description
This captivating sculpture features a human figure in motion, soaring toward the sky with ethereal grace. Crafted from finely crafted metal, each curve and swirl of this work evokes the lightness and fluidity of a ballet frozen in time. The artist skillfully used the transparency and delicacy of the materials to capture a sense of movement and evanescence. The intricate details, reminiscent of foliage or wings, add an organic dimension to this slender figure. The simple, dark base contrasts with the vibrant complexity of the form, accentuating its slender, majestic presence. This work is a tribute to the beauty and freedom of human movement, embodied in a structure that is both robust and delicate. A true technical and artistic feat that attracts and holds the viewer's eye.
Presentation
Nimrod began his creative life at a very young age sculpting in his father's workshop. Over the years he has developed an eclectic and unique style much sought after both internationally and here in his home on the coast of Spain. After traveling for many years all over the world, Nimrod finally settled in Marbella, Spain, in 1999, starting his own business creating bespoke architectural furniture. Its pieces are handcrafted only from wrought iron and are evident in many of the most exclusive properties in and around Marbella. After the success of Messeg Design, Nimrod turned his attention to his true talent and love of artistic sculpture.
Nimrod developed his personal, straightforward, artisanal method of carving iron. He uses ancient techniques of forging, welding, electric hammering, plasma torch, etc., which allow him to create textures, shapes and effects that give his sculptures a unique style and appearance. These methods allow him to take that brutal metal and transform it into something beautiful, soft, light, curvilinear ... even soft.
