Description
This artwork depicts a stylized mouth with lips covered in vibrant, colorful comic strip motifs. Each vibrant detail blends into a vibrant palette dominated by red, yellow, and green, evoking the energy and avant-garde of pop art. The white teeth, in stark contrast to the profusion of colors, add a playful yet enigmatic dimension. The use of geometric shapes and iconic characters creates a captivating visual patchwork, demonstrating a bold artistic technique. Presentation
In each sculpture, Sagrasse places a fragment of humanity, an emotion kneaded into the material, like a breath that crosses time.
Born in 1966 in Macerata, in the Marche region of Italy, Sagrasse has dedicated his life to sculpture for over thirty years. Driven by a constant passion for material and form, he has developed an artistic language that is both contemporary and profoundly human.
His works are exhibited throughout the world, in galleries, private exhibitions, and spaces dedicated to art. This international career reflects a recognition acquired over time, driven by the sincerity and strength of his work.
Sagrasse's creations address contemporary and universal themes : ecology, social ideologies, and the relationship between man and his environment. His sculpture thus becomes a space for reflection, where consciousness and aesthetics, questioning and emotion intertwine.
