Marc Bourlier

This captivating work is an assemblage of natural materials, featuring pieces of wood with varied textures. Each meticulously carved piece reveals irregular perforations that add an organic and mysterious dimension. The antlers, arranged in a square frame boldly adorned with tribal motifs, create a striking contrast between the rusticity of the natural elements and the sophistication of the frame. The earthy palette, ranging from light beige to deep brown, evokes the richness of nature and inspires an intimate connection with the environment. The artist succeeds in conveying a sense of history and the passage of time, with each piece seeming to tell a unique story. This work is not content to be simply a visual composition; it invites the viewer to explore the textures, touch with their eyes, and feel the depth of its natural and artistic narrative.
