Description
With 'Keith', Vincent Duchêne has created a vibrant work that pays tribute to the world of Keith Haring, an iconic figure of Pop Art and the 1980s. The sculpture, made entirely of metal painted in intense blue, depicts two stylised figures raising a large red heart above their heads.
This heart, a recurring and universal motif in Haring's work, becomes here a symbol of love, sharing and vital energy. The contrast between the deep blue of the sculpture and the bright red of the heart creates an immediate visual intensity, attracting the eye and arousing emotion.
More than just a decorative object, 'Keith' is a manifesto piece: a celebration of joy, humanity and universal visual language. It embodies Haring's free spirit while bearing Duchêne's contemporary and personal touch.
Ideal for collectors passionate about Pop Art and contemporary design, this sculpture stands out as an elegant and vibrant nod to the history of urban art and the creative energy that runs through it.
Presentation
From the age of 14, with a welding machine and old rusty parts, Vincent Duchêne gives free rein to his imagination.
Self-taught sculptor who collects what you no longer pay attention to, he brings pieces of metal back to life that become unique works of art. You will then take another look at these pieces, which will have a second, much more noble life.
His works are filled with emotion, sometimes very colorful. Each of them is unique. You will discover contemporary works, always imbued with the sensitivity and soul of the artist.
Making his Minions out of fire extinguishers made him a successful artist.
