Description
This impressive artwork features a captivating three-dimensional texture, reminiscent of the undulating surface of waves frozen in time or the radiance of a celestial body. A dominant circular motif at the center is meticulously sculpted to evoke layers of wood. The nuanced use of brown, gold, and black tones creates a mesmerizing sense of depth and movement. This interplay of colors evokes the warmth of natural materials, lending an organic feel to the piece. The precision of the radial and concentric patterns draws the eye, inviting prolonged contemplation. Through its complexity and structure, this piece merges traditional craftsmanship with contemporary expression, inviting the viewer to imagine the symbiosis between nature and abstraction. A bold and intriguing visual exploration that resonates deeply with an audience seeking the exceptional.
Presentation
Working with wood means working with a living material that has its own history. Find the right essence, the one that will speak to us, find the technique, the one that will adapt to it, blend into it to magnify it and make it vibrate. This is the quest of my approach. The one who is passionate about the journey and not the result…
In my creations, I wish to keep this link to the natural beauty of the material to be able to dive into the waves of the annual rings, to find the force of the elements there and to place my personal story there so that it resonates with this raw material, which she sings a dual score.
Working with wood is for me an ode to nature, to the elements, to the living; where man finds his place, in a wave that goes beyond him.
