Description
This three-dimensional artwork portrays a polar bear on a stylized ice floe, interpreted through fractured mirrors that symbolize the fragility of the natural habitat due to climate change.
The pure white bear emanates a majestic yet vulnerable presence, made even more dramatic by the vibrant, colorful details around its paws, evoking flames or melting. This color contrast captures the attention and highlights the environmental urgency addressed by the artist. The reflective base amplifies the sense of precariousness and transforms the viewer into an active participant, invited to reflect on the consequences of human actions. The work is a powerful allegory, using visual symbolism to communicate a critical message about conservation and the impact of human activity on the Arctic ecosystem.
Presentation
He is an eclectic artist who has chosen painting among many artistic expressions. Passion was embraced in the 90s and transformed into a profession. His painting is expressed through a gesture made of experimentation with color and the "Dripping" technique with which he interprets the landscape (Informal). His artistic production, although characterized by a constant path of research, always remains faithful to naturalistic painting, even when the link with figuration is only hinted at.
An example of his recent artistic production. The landscape and nature are radically rethought and, although the compositional balance remains, the link with figuration is now only hinted at, to recall it, a celestial body, present in every work and which has always been a point of reference for creation.
Since 2019 he has been part of the Association "The Free Artists in Varese".The artist boasts important personal and collective exhibitions. His paintings are exhibited in galleries both in Italy and abroad.
