The artist is known for his series of sculptural glass works and paintings, and perhaps best recognized for his huge installations of organically shaped Chandeliers, some weighing up to almost a ton. With his technical innovation, tremendous range of patterns and vibrant colors, Chihuly's works are immediately identifiable making him one of the most widely recognized artists in the world today.
