Description
The series was conceived to resonate with the architecture of Claude Costy and Pascal Haüsermann from 1969.
The forms, as if swollen from within, evoke expanding volumes, carried by a breath. They unfold in a play of tension between envelope and structure, between interior and exterior.
Handcrafted, they are part of a research project on the inhabited landscape, where forms become spaces that are both intimate and open.
Presentation
She develops a sculptural practice centered on the notion of inhabited landscape.
His works — shells, shelters, fragments — lie at the boundary between the living and architecture.
They unfold silent forms, where time seems suspended.
Based in Lyon, Manon Oller is a multidisciplinary artist whose work primarily unfolds through sculpture, in dialogue with photography and performance. A graduate of the European Institute of Ceramic Arts (IEAC), she also studied art history and archaeology at the University of Strasbourg, which inform her research on traces and temporalities.
The earth, his primary medium, is a living material, charged with memory.
His works appear as fragments of a world in transformation — between past and becoming.
