SOL 01 is a self-contained module situated at the boundary between sculpture and furniture. Conceived as a sculpted block, the piece can be activated as a side table or stool, while retaining a strong formal presence.

Its dense, rounded silhouette evokes a fragment of landscape, a rock polished by time, or a primitive architectural structure. A cavity carved into the mass introduces a tension between solid and void, like a fault or an inner pocket that animates the form. This detail lends the piece an organic, almost living dimension.

Made of white chamotte stoneware, SOL 01 creates a dialogue between the softness of its curves and the mineral strength of the material. Part sculpture, part design object, and part interior architecture, it is designed to inhabit a space with both restraint and intensity.

Each piece is made to order in the workshop. SOL 01 is a unique piece, handcrafted without the use of molds; slight variations may occur, making each creation a singular work of art.

Based in Lyon, Manon Oller is a multidisciplinary artist whose work primarily unfolds through sculpture, in dialogue with photography and performance. A graduate of the European Institute of Ceramic Arts (IEAC), she also studied art history and archaeology at the University of Strasbourg, which inform her research on traces and temporalities.

The earth, his primary medium, is a living material, charged with memory.
His works appear as fragments of a world in transformation — between past and becoming.
